FUHR 870 Type 8 Passive Deadbolt Emergency Exit & Panic Door Lock – 35mm

The FUHR 870 Emergency Exit Passive Panic Multipoint Door Lock is designed for use on the passive leaf of a pair of French doors. This lock features panic operation and is suitable for installations where the passive door leaf needs to work as part of an emergency exit arrangement. To achieve EN 1125 for double doors the 870 EN 1125 passive lock should be used alongside the standard master leaf set up. The lock itself features no locking points and is designed to work as the passive lock within the wider door set. To lock, the handle is lifted upwards to engage the locking points, before the system is locked by turning the key. To unlock, the system is released by turning the key, then the handle is pushed downwards to disengage the locking points and retract the latch. It has 92mm centres, a flat 16mm square-ended faceplate, single 9mm spindle and has a non handed operation.
