FUHR 870 Type 8 Emergency Exit Multipoint Lock – 2 Round Bolt – 35mm

The FUHR 870 Type 8 Emergency Exit Multipoint Door Lock is designed for single or master leaf door applications where secure locking and safe emergency escape are required. This lock features 92mm centres, a 9mm spindle, reversible latch, 2 steel round bolts and a latch and deadbolt, making it suitable for UPVC, aluminium, composite and timber doors. When used with the correct tested hardware set, such as a FUHR panic bar and CES free movement cylinder, the door set is capable of achieving EN 1125 Panic Exit and EN 179 Emergency Exit requirements. From the inside, the FUHR 870 can be opened at any time to provide emergency or panic egress, while the outside is key operated when used with the compatible fixed knob handle arrangement. These emergency exit locking systems are designed to allow quick escape from the inside while maintaining protection against unauthorised access from the outside.
