FrameFit is a gap fill solution that fits to doors, frames and the bottom of the existing door leaf’s to reduce gap sizes to meet current fire door regulations. Fire door Inspectors will report a fire door as ‘Non-Compliant’ with gaps of over 4mm between the frame and leaf. On the bottom of a fire door, gaps of over 8mm (Fire Only Door) and gaps of over 3mm (Fire & Smoke Doors) will also be reported as ‘Non-Compliant.’ This bottom door seal carrier is used in conjunction with the separately available LM (Low Modulus) gap filling seal to reduce gaps in none compliant fire doors; once fitted correctly the system is compliant to BS 476 Part 22 & BS EN 1634-1.
