The Dormakaba SL30DBL is a motor-driven electronic side load lock engineered for securing commercial and residential double-acting swing doors. Its innovative design addresses common challenges in electronic locking systems, such as up to 8mm automatic door misalignment in either direction and side load resistance. The lock features dual 10 mm thick stainless steel bolt pins with a 13 mm extension, providing a holding force of up to 10,000 N (1,000 kg). It operates on a low voltage input ranging from 12 V DC to 24 V DC, with a standby current consumption of less than 50 mA, making it both eco-friendly and economical. The SL30DBL is versatile in installation, supporting both horizontal and vertical mortise mounting, and can be surface-mounted with additional accessories, including options for glass doors. It is field-configurable for fail-safe (power to lock) or fail-secure (power to open) modes by repositioning a single jumper, allowing integration with various access control or alarm systems.
