Prices

All prices quoted online have the option to be shown as both including and excluding UK VAT. Every effort is made to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. It may be that prices are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. We have no statutory obligation to sell goods at the price quoted if that price is incorrect.

Delivery

Orders are always shipped at the first opportunity. If an item is out of stock, it may be necessary to order that item from one of our suppliers before it can be dispatched – in which case delivery may be delayed. We will contact you if we are unable to supply out of stock items and advise of the delay or to see if an alternative item would be suitable. Unless otherwise stated when placing the order, all orders received before 17:00 (Monday – Friday) and using our standard carriage option are dispatched the same working day. Payment

We accept payment by all UK-issued cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron or Vpay logo. Our online card transactions are processed through Square. With end-to-end encryption, customer payment data is never collected on our servers or devices. Our secure online payment system offers 24/7 processing protection. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of payment details if we think they are being used fraudulently.

Product Images and General Descriptive Manner

All specifications, drawings and particulars of weights, dimensions, capacity or other details contained in our website or brochures are intended merely to give a general idea of goods but will not form part of any contract. If the description of any goods not of our manufacture in any correspondence, brochure, invoice or the website varies from that of the manufacturer’s description, the manufacturer’s description will be deemed to be the correct description and shall take precedence over our description. The manufacturer’s description is available on request. We shall make every effort to ensure the accuracy of technical details relating to the goods on the website or brochures but we accept no liability in contract or tort or under statute or otherwise for any damages or injury arising directly or indirectly from any error or omission in such technical details whether caused by our negligence or otherwise.

Unless otherwise stated, electrical ratings represent safe working limits. Dimensions and other physical characteristics are subject to normal commercial tolerances. We reserve the right without prior notice to discontinue any Goods or to make design changes as part of a continuous programme of improvements or to assist availability. We have taken reasonable steps in the course of our business to ensure that the Goods do not infringe any patent, design, trademark, copyright or any other rights of third parties but no guarantee in this respect is given and we shall have no liability whatsoever in the event of any such infringement howsoever arising. We own full copyright of this website and its reproduction in part or in whole is prohibited without our prior written consent.

Country of Origin

Goods listed in this Buyer’s Guide may originate from non EC source. Unless otherwise confirmed by us in writing, nothing in this document is to be taken as representative of the source of origin or manufacture or production of the goods or any part thereof.

Complaints

We take the satisfaction of our customers very seriously. If you feel you have received substandard information or services from us we would like to hear about it so that we can prevent the same thing from happening again. We will make every effort to rectify genuine problems as expediently as possible. Complaints can be made via our contact page.

Age Requirements for Specific Goods

Orders placed for age-restricted goods such as solvents, knives or other sharp objects will be made and collected by a person over the age of 18. We reserve the right to cancel an order or purchase if we reasonably believe age restrictions aren’t met for certain goods. For all Click & Collect orders – Age ID (passport or driving license) will be required for all store purposes and collections.

Statutory Rights

Nothing contained herein shall affect the implied undertaking as to title etc. contained in Section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or shall affect your statutory rights if you ‘deal as a consumer’ as defined in Section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
